According to latest August Update 2026, the registration process for Punjab Kisan Card 2026 is ongoing across Punjab and you can complete your registration by sending an SMS to 8070 or you can also complete your registration through the office of the Agriculture Department.

Punjab Kisan Card is a welfare program launched for farmers of Punjab who own 1 to 12.5 acres of land. Under this program, interest-free loans of up to Rs 150,000 will be provided to eligible candidates so that farmers can buy spray, fertilizers, medicines, etc. for their crops and its benefits are as follows:
- Under this program, you can get an interest-free loan of up to 1.5 lakh rupees.
- You will get relief from heavy bank loans and you will be able to get interest-free loans.
- Under this program, you will have to repay the loan amount within a period of six months and you will also be provided with an additional one-month discount.
- Under this program, you can buy food, sprays, medicines, etc. for your crops and you can withdraw cash 30 percent of Punjab Kisan Card payment, which you can use for diesel and other basic needs.
Punjab Kisan Card Eligibility Requirements:
If you want to apply for Kisan Card, then you must know the basic eligibility requirements.
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Punjab and must have a valid National Identity Card and a registered mobile phone number.
- The candidate must be at least 18 years of age and must be able to do farming.
- The candidate must own land between one and 12.5 acres certified by the Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA).
- The candidate must not be a debtor to any financial institution or bank and must not be a defaulter of any bank.

You can also apply for this program through the official 8070 portal and you can also apply through the office of the Department of Agriculture.
Apply Through Official 8070 Portal:
- To apply for kisan card program, you have to open the Messenger app on your mobile phone and send your CNIC number to the official 8070 portal through your registered SIM.
- After some time, you will receive a confirmation message that your application has been received and in one to two days, you will receive a confirmation message regarding your registration, which will inform you about your registration and eligibility.

If the 8070 official portal is not working for you, then you can also complete your registration process from the Agriculture Department office.
